At Bob Shop, we always enjoy celebrating success stories from our community, so we were delighted to hear that Bob Shop seller Seeds for Africa is making waves. They’ve been nominated for the KFM 94.5 Best of the Cape Awards – but to win the award they deserve, they need your help.
From the beginning, we’ve always been all about building an online community of buyers and sellers, and connecting people through their shared passions. By coming together, we can make a difference – united we stand!
A passion project that grew into a business
Seeds for Africa is the kind of story that makes us get out of bed in the morning – small business successes are one of the main reasons we love what we do. The company was founded in 2011 by Grant Muller and began as an extension of his hobby of growing rare and exotic plants.
His passion project – sourcing seeds from overseas – soon replaced his corporate job, and Grant has never looked back. When you buy from Seeds for Africa, you’re helping to support a South African SME and create opportunities for entrepreneurs and their team members.
We’re proud to have played a part in Grant’s business journey, and now we’re asking you to give him a helping hand. Seeds for Africa is the only nominee in the KFM Best of the Cape Awards that sells on Bob Shop and uses Bob Go to meet all its fulfilment needs.
The KFM Awards celebrate the best of everything in the Cape, including food and drink, accommodation and experiences. Seeds for Africa is nominated in the Business > Best Online Store category that focuses on ecommerce businesses that are based in the Cape.
