1. What do you sell on bidorbuy?

I sell furniture, mainly lounge suites, headboards and TV units.

2. Is selling on bidorbuy your business or your hobby?

Furniture is my main business. However, I didn’t think the bidorbuy platform would have impacted my business like it has. I am forever grateful.

3. When did you start selling on bidorbuy and why?

I created an account as a buyer in 2012, and only decided to start using it as a seller in May 2017. So basically, from May 2017 till today I’ve been an official seller.

4. What has your bidorbuy experience taught you?

It has taught me that online marketing and selling is the future. The bidorbuy platform has made things easy and seamless. Best of all, I have less expenses to worry about. We are living in a world where digital marketing and advertising are thriving and this is what online sellers and platforms need to take advantage of.

5. What is the biggest lesson you have learnt selling online?

When you sell online, you need to be aware from the start that it isn’t the same as when a customer walks into a shop and is able to look at the product, feel it and test it out. Since you cannot provide this touch-feel factor, it means that your customer service, product quality and time-frame for delivery all need to be spot on.in order to succeed online. If you can do that, and do it consistently, you are bound to succeed as an online  seller.

6. How do you promote your products on the bidorbuy platform?

I list my products under the appropriate categories so that people browsing for furniture or similar items can find them easily. And I make use of the various enhancements provided by bidorbuy to showcase my products on the main pages and to make them stand out.

7. What sets your company or products apart from the rest?

I personally think I thrive on customer service. I like to make sure my buyers are happy, no matter what. My products are also very well priced and I keep it that way, whereas a lot of people tend to eventually raise their prices.

I would like to thank bidorbuy for helping me throughout this journey. I absolutely love the platform and I am sure that my business will continue to flourish on it.
