I love the prettiness of combining denim and floral patterns in an outfit, and the look is huge this summer.
The reason denim and floral look so perfect together is because, while they both feel summery and outdoors-y, they do so in a very different way.
Denim is earthy, rough and androgynous; it’s cowboy fabric. Floral, on the other hand, is soft and feminine. In order to epitomise this look go for small, soft floral patterns and pair with distressed or folded denim.
