Win your share of R10, 000. Ten winners. Ten days.

It’s that time of year again…jingle bells play in the background, tinsel hangs from the ceilings and gifts are now a priority on your ‘to-do list.’ Christmas is a time for giving and receiving. We at bidorbuy are extremely excited for the festive season to arrive, so we have decided to get involved in the spirit of giving. And receiving. This inspired the creation of the #bidorbuygifts competition, where we will be giving away R1000 every work day of the week, for two weeks.

How does the competition work?

Follow @bidorbuy_co_za on Twitter and join the giving-receiving conversation! It’s as simple as that: you tell us what gifts you would like to receive this Christmas, plus what you plan to give to your dearest and nearest.

Week 1 is about what you want to receive for Christmas from the vast treasure-trove that is bidorbuy. Between 14 and 20 November, post a tweet with a link to the bidorbuy item you covet and stand a chance to win R1000 a day!

Week 2 is about what you plan to give from the wide range of products available on bidorbuy. Between 21 and 27 November, post a tweet with a link to the bidorbuy item that you plan to give to your significant other, whether that is a friend, relative, partner or a child…and stand a chance to win R1000 a day!

The competition details

1. The #bidorbuygifts competition will start on 14 November 2016 and end on 25 of November 2016.
   •  To participate it this competition, you need to follow @bidorbuy_co_za on Twitter and tweet a link to a bidorbuy listing of a gift you would like to receive or give this festive season with the hashtag #bidorbuygifts.
   •  From 14 to 20 November, post a tweet with a link to the bidorbuy item you want to receive as a gift. Remember to include #bidorbuygifts.
   •  From 21 to 27 November, post a tweet with a link to the bidorbuy item that you plan to gift to someone you love.
2. Every workday from 14 to 27 November we will award one R1000 bobBucks voucher to the author of the most original and ‘out the box’ gift idea. We’ll also look at the level of post engagement and factor that into our decision so tag your friends and get them to retweet and like your posts.
3. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. The bobBucks vouchers can only be used on bidorbuy; these vouchers are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. The winner for each day will be announced on the official bidorbuy Twitter page. Announcements will be made the following day with the corresponding #bidorbuygifts hashtag. Friday’s winner will be announced on the following Monday.
