You may have read about the escaped hyenas in the local media. A fan of the bidorbuy page on Facebook was quick to notice what she called a “bizarre twist to missing hyenas” and wrote:

The hyenas that chewed their way to freedom on Wednesday morning are safely back home. Recent findings however, have revealed that there is more to the case than previously published.

Bizarre reports indicate that the female hyena was actually discovered possessively chewing on a light blue leather handbag. Park employees said that although they tried to pry the expensive item from her powerful jaws, she wouldn’t budge – in fact she seemed pretty attached to it…

An amazed bystander simply stated … “Now this is something you don’t see every day, hyenas and handbags – it’s a jungle out there.”
