Spring makes for the perfect excuse to go shopping (not that you need one). Read on to learn about what’s on-trend this coming spring, so you look your very best whether you’re at home, at work or out with friends. You know what colours and cuts are going to be in, so let’s look at a few specific pieces that should be in your spring wardrobe this year.

White trousers: Denim or not, you will need a pair of white trousers to go with all the teal, coral, sea green and blue tops that will be hot this spring. White will complement these colours beautifully and make for a subtle and chic look.
Coloured denim: Red, green, hot pink, coral, bright blue, and even yellow, coloured denim is still ruling the roost this spring. Remember to keep the top neutral when wearing them, though!
Chambray: This ‘borrowed from the boys’ look is very trendy right now. Pick up a lightweight chambray shirt and pair it with those white trousers or jeans we mentioned above. Accessorize with a brown belt and a chunky watch for a perfect casual look.
Colour-pop accessories: What’s spring without some fun pops of colour? Pick up belts, flats and handbags in unexpected hues such as fuchsia, orange, mustard yellow and cobalt blue.

Pencil skirts: Whether in aqua colours or black/white patterns, you will need a pencil skirt this spring to wear to work or for evenings out. Our favourite pick would be a pencil skirt in a black/white checkerboard pattern.
Striped dress: Horizontal or vertical, a striped maxi dress is a spring must-have. Go for a nautical look with blues, whites or corals.
Polka dot shirt: Girly, fun, and flirty, you cannot go wrong with a polka dot shirt that you can dress up for work and dress down for a girls’ night out or a date.

This spring, clothing and accessories are fun and flirty. Stick to a few of the trends we’ve discussed above and go shopping with some specific items in mind (polka, coloured denim, bright bag and so on).
