Capture your “Best of South Africa” moments through your photo lens, submit your images, and you could win R6,000 to spend in the bidorbuy Photo & Video category. Entries are open from Friday 12 October to Monday 22 October 2012.

Photographs must be your own original work.
Entries are open between Friday 12 October to Monday 22 October 2012.
All images that depict various aspects of South Africa qualify: landscapes, architecture, culture, cityscapes, people, daily life, etc.

Please note that you can only enter using your desktop computer and not your mobile phone.

Invite your friends to vote for your photo from Tuesday 23 October to Monday 29 October 2012.
You will be able to share a link of your photo using Facebook or by email.
Votes are limited to 1 per day (per person).
The 10 photos with most votes become finalists.

10 finalists will be announced on 30 October 2012.
A bidorbuy jury will choose one photograph from the 10 finalists as the winning entry.
The winner will receive a prize of R6,000 to spend on bidorbuy in the Photo & Video category.
The name of the winner will be announced on 31 October 2012 around noon.

All photo entries will be moderated by bidorbuy. We reserve the right to not to publish a photograph for any reason whatsoever. If your photo is not published, it means that you have not been entered into the competition. You may then send another photo entry.
