From 8 November until 9 December, we will be giving away two weekly R1000 cash prizes to spend on bidorbuy in our It’s a Jungle Out There competition.
The competition will unfold in ten stages, on the Competition tab of bidorbuy page on Facebook.
Every week for five weeks, we shall ask you one question on Tuesdays and one on Fridays. That’s ten questions for the ten stages. All correct answers will be entered into a draw for that particular stage.
The winners of the ten R1000 prizes have about three months to spend the cash on bidorbuy. The winners also get a personal shopper to assist them – so no need to worry if you are an absolute novice to online shopping.

What do I get if I enter the bidorbuy It’s a Jungle Out There Competition?
You stand a chance to win your share of R10,000 to spend on bidorbuy, plus a personal shopping assistant. Every week for five weeks, we will be giving away two R1000 cash prizes to two lucky winners, to spend on bidorbuy.
Who can enter the bidorbuy It’s a Jungle Out There Competition?
All South African residents who are 18 or older may enter, except bidorbuy employees and members of their immediate family.
How do I enter the bidorbuy It’s a Jungle Out There Competition?
Go to the Competition tab of the bidorbuy page on Facebook, watch the bidorbuy It’s a Jungle Out There 30 second TV ad, answer correctly the question posed – and keep your fingers crossed!
When will I know whether I won?
The names of the winners of each of the ten stages of the competition will be published on the bidorbuy page on Facebook two or three days after the relevant stage is finished.
If I win one of the It’s a Jungle competition stages, may I participate in a subsequent one?
Yes. If you want to, you may participate in all ten stages of the It’s a Jungle Out There Competition. And – if you are very lucky – you may win all ten!
How many times can I enter any single stage of the It’s a Jungle Out there Competition?
You may enter each stage only once. However, you are welcome to enter all ten stages, one time each.
If I win, how much time do I have to spend my cash?
You must spend your cash prize on bidorbuy within three months from the date when you were announced as a winner.
What if I win and want to shop by myself, without an assistant?
Personal shopping assistants will make it easier for you to liaise with the different bidorbuy sellers. If you choose to shop without an assistant, you need to conclude the transaction by making payment to the bidorbuy seller(s) and let us know about this. We’ll reimburse you to the amount you won.
