How can I get started?
Step 1: Complete the online application form on the mobicred website.
Step 2: You will receive notification that you have been approved or declined. Please note that the approval process may take up to 2 business days.
Step 3: Browse bidorbuy for the product you want and check that the seller offers mobicred.
Step 4: Add the item to your shopping cart and select the mobicred payment option upon checkout.
What are the requirements?
- South African ID number
- Age 18 years or older
- Earn a minimum monthly salary of R4500
- An existing and valid bank account in your name
- A current and valid email address and cellphone number
How does mobicred make their money?
Mobicred, just like banks, make their money from initiation fees when a customer signs up, a monthly service fee, transaction fees and from the interest charged on the credit. Please note that mobicred fees are excluded from the monthly payment amount displayed on the product listing. Mobicred will confirm all fees with the buyer when the account is opened.
