Every year, Abraham Kriel Childcare organises the prestigious and glamorous Stars for Charity event at Scarlet Ribbon, the famous five-star venue at Edenvale.

This year, the event will be held on 15 September 2011, and you can be there. What’s more, you can have a celebrity seated at your table!

To be precise, the arrangement is like this: your party of ten (including yourself) will be joined by a celebrity for a gala dinner  table booking that includes a Four Course dinner and all drinks for everyone. Yes, you read well: all drinks (which probably means that you may want to have a friend or two at a standby for the ride back home).

And which celebrity’s company will you enjoy come 15 September? That is up to you. Just bid on one of the celebrities listed o bidorbuy: the singer Heinz Winckler (winner of the first series of South African Idols) and his adorable wife Alette-Johanni; the legendary cricketer Clive Rice; or the popular actor Hans Strydom, best known for his roles in TV series including Vleisvreters, 7de Laan, Binnelanders and many more. Be prepared to pay a  R15 000 fee over and above the winning bid amount. The proceeds are for raising funds for disadvantaged children in desperate need of help.
