Baby bottle warmers

Date

When you are tired and baby is crying, the last thing you want to do is wait forever for the tap to run hot water, or fuss with a microwave; possibly even warming baby’s bottle up too much and then having to cool it down again. The solution? A bottle/food warmer.

There are a few different types of warmers that we can distinguish between. Follow our helpful guide to find out which is best for you.

The Standard Bottle Warmer

A standard warmer only has a warming function. You place the jar or bottle of food in the warmer, and fill water up to the level of the food or milk. The water will warm up to the temperature setting that you have chosen (you may have to fiddle with this a little before you get the right temperature setting) and will then turn itself on and off so as to keep the food at the right temperature until you are ready to use it.

Bottle Warmer & Coolers Sets

These sets come included with a small box for keeping bottles cold for storage, so there is no need to prepare bottles at 3am or make a trip to the fridge and risk tripping over stairs or any other obstacles in the dark. You can prepare the bottles, leave them in the cooler and when baby is ready for feeding, simply pop them in the warmer.

Portable Bottle Warmers

Lastly, portable bottle warmers allow you to warm up baby’s bottle while on the move. While there may be other options when you are at home, there are few when traveling. Some portable bottle warmers simply plug into the cigarette lighter socket of your car, while others are charged beforehand and warm up at the touch of a button

Remember to keep in mind the type of bottle or container that you are warming when choosing between the different types of warmers.
